As an interracial Sri Lankan this clash of West meeting East not only made a huge impact to the art, the music, the spirituality and the drugs that surround me, but also on my personal development and that big search for freedom in a society that expects you to follow a certain culture or subculture even within the process of breaking free of boundaries and limitations.

As the Co-founder of Sri Lanka's first psychedelic music label and live act I realized that the roots of liberation come from taking the path of individualism and breaking out of the box, throwing away strict rules about music genres, and still being capable of building communities and being who you are.
Ultimately, this artwork captures exactly what the hippies were all about: grabbing raw, traditional culture, mixing it with modern technology, and creating something completely new and unique.
